Discouragement. I am the first to admit that, when things get too busy at work or at home, or when my best prepared plans go awry, it can be easy to let discouragement colour my thoughts - especially if I let it get the best of me.
When I think of the Christmas story, the season, the meaning, Christ’s coming, the many miracles that occurred and the many prophecies fulfilled, my senses travel into a state of WONDER….
Can you imagine a world without fear? I wonder what that would be like. We would run into the dark without hesitation, be bored riding a roller coaster, see the world from the greatest heights, or even have spiders as pets. Whatever the fear is, without it, our world would look very different.
This devo marks the last in the series of our theme verse for AKC25. Unpacking this short but powerful verse has been so good for the soul. Joshua is an incredible example for us to follow.
