Angels on Our Side

There’s a verse I give all the new parents in our congregation. It’s the same verse that was given to me when I had my oldest. The woman who shared it with me was a spiritual pillar in the church I grew up in and so a verse coming from her really was quite special.

The verse is Matthew 18:10. It speaks about children’s angels, and how they always see the face of our heavenly Father. This is a HUGE encouragement. Just like we can’t possibly parent all on our own, we most definitely can’t do our work on our own either.

God protects His children… even us grownups. When you’re feeling low, remember you are a child of God. He’s got your back.
