God’s Perfect Recipe
There’s no guessing when it comes to God’s love for us...and our kids!

“Bake until done.” These three words cause serious anxiety to those of us who don’t bake. (Want to know how much of a baker I am not? I had a small bag of flour go rancid. It’s embarrassing, but true!)
“Bake until done” makes perfect sense to those who have perfected the art of measuring, separating, and beating. And while I am not a baker, I can absolutely appreciate a great piece of dark chocolate cake all the more because a)I know I’d never be able to make it and b) I know it didn’t just magically happen. Someone followed the recipe.
For someone to follow the recipe, there was first someone who decided to create something and then tested it enough times to confidently make a recipe for others to follow.
I am beyond grateful that our Creator is clear on His love for us. I am beyond grateful that our Creator is clear on His grace for us. In this season of many unknowns, there are indeed many knowns… knowns that are concrete. God loves you. God loves your children. God will BLESS your ministry.
When you’re feeling low, lost or lonely, God is there, my friend. God. Is. There. No “bake until done” messages with Him. His recipe is clear: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
A QUESTION FOR YOU
If you had to remind yourself of one truth or promise, what would it be? If you had to choose one truth or promise to share with your children, what would it be?
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
